Asphalt Milling Contractor in Central Florida

Resurface without raising the pavement into the curbs.

Milling grinds the existing asphalt surface off to a controlled depth. It is how you resurface a lot without raising it into the curbs and thresholds.

We mill surfaces for resurfacing, for height and grade correction at tie-ins, for removal of failed surface areas before repair, and for full removal where the surface is finished. Controlled depth is the whole point: milling establishes the profile the new asphalt needs rather than simply removing material.

Milling also produces recycled asphalt millings, which are a genuinely useful material for drives, yards and access roads where hot mix asphalt is not required.

Asphalt Milling assessment

Common pavement and site concerns

Cannot raise the surface height

Milling removes the thickness the new asphalt will add, so curbs, drains and door thresholds stay where they are.

Old surface too far gone to overlay

Milling takes it off so the new surface starts from a known condition.

Rough tie-in at an existing edge

Butt joint milling gives a clean, flush transition.

Common questions

Why mill instead of just paving over the top?
Because adding thickness changes heights. Milling first keeps curbs, drains and thresholds working and keeps drainage where it was designed to go.
What happens to the milled material?
It is hauled off or, where appropriate, retained as recycled asphalt millings for reuse.
Can you mill only part of a surface?
Yes. Partial milling of failed areas and tie-in joints is common.
