Land Grading Contractor in Central Florida

Open ground, shaped into usable land.

Land grading is the open ground version of dirt work: taking a lot or acreage that drains wrong or sits wrong and shaping it into usable, stable ground.

This is distinct from grading inside a paving job. Here the deliverable is the land itself. That covers leveling an uneven lot, shaping ground so water leaves it instead of sitting, spreading and compacting imported fill, establishing grade after clearing, and cutting access into a property.

On Central Florida acreage the two recurring issues are low areas that hold water through the wet season and sand that erodes wherever water is allowed to run in a concentrated path. Both are grade problems and both are fixable with proper shaping.

Common questions

How is land grading different from grading and dirt work?
It is the same equipment and skills applied to open ground rather than to a pad or a surface that is about to be paved. Land grading focuses on the shape and drainage of open ground, whether or not paving follows.
Can you bring in fill?
Yes. Fill placement, spreading and compaction are part of the work.
