Asphalt Repair Contractor in Central Florida

Fix the failure under the surface, not just the surface.

Repair is about finding where the pavement structure actually failed and rebuilding that, instead of filling what shows on the surface.

Most of what gets called a surface problem is a base problem showing through. We cut out the failed area to full depth, deal with whatever is underneath it, rebuild the section and tie the patch back into the surrounding pavement so water does not get in at the seam.

Repair is also the practical tool for staging budgets. When a lot needs eventual resurfacing but this year's money is limited, targeted repair of the worst areas keeps the property safe and usable while the larger job gets planned.

Common pavement and site concerns

Isolated failed areas in a good surface

The clearest repair case. Cut it out, rebuild the section, tie it in.

Previous patches failing again

Usually because the base under them was never addressed. Those get rebuilt properly.

Utility cut left rough

Restoration to full depth with compaction, not a surface skim.

Asphalt Repair project planning

How the job takes shape

  1. 1

    Identify the failure boundary

The repair has to extend to sound pavement, which is often wider than the visible damage.

  2. 2

    Cut and remove

Clean saw cut edges and full depth removal.

  3. 3

    Rebuild the base

Replace and compact the material underneath.

  4. 4

    Place and compact asphalt

In lifts, tied into the surrounding surface.

  5. 5

    Seal the seam

So water cannot get back into the joint.

Common questions

Will the repair be a different color than the rest of the lot?
Yes, at first. New asphalt is darker and weathers toward the surrounding surface over the following months.
Why is the repair area bigger than the damage?
Because the repair has to reach sound pavement. Cutting exactly to the visible damage leaves weak material at the seam and the patch fails from the edge.
Is repair worth it if we will resurface in a couple of years?
Often yes. A sound full depth repair may be retained beneath a future surface. Suitability depends on the repaired area, drainage and the later resurfacing scope.
